CAT 825 Wear Bands are designed to extend the life of your Wheel / Sleeve, After time your 825 wheels will start to wear between the pedestals where the scraper bars run. This is very common and in some cases it can lead time scalloping of the drum or cracking. Wear bands are a great way to extend the life of your wheels, the bands are welded in between the pedestals to put an extra layer of material between the scrapers and wheel. These can be installed when your wheels are brand new or after hours of operating.
